I usually realllly dislike crime/gangster movies... but damn, The Irishman was incredible.

I’d say (before my viewing of The Irishman) that crime/mafia/gangster is my least favorite genre of film.

Then I watched The Irishman yesterday. God I could not get enough of it! It’s 3 hour and 30 minute runtime felt like a breeze and I wanted to watch more.

Robert De Niro is absolutely fantastic in this film and I could not believe how good the writing was. And the cinematography😍I am just wowed by the entire film.

Al Pacino as Jimmy Hoffa is probably one of the best performances of the year. At first, I couldn’t even believe that was Al Pacino. What a fantastic job.

I so was blown away by the story and the direction of the film. I haven’t been this blown away by a film since I watched Saving Private Ryan earlier this year.

Fantastic movie. 5/5.
